What's Your Favorite TV Show?

Is it just me, or have the cartoon T.V. shows changed alot since Bugs Bunny. I love "Family Guy", think it's hilarious and very adult oriented. It was cancelled shortly after it's debut, but the public banned together and brought it back

Most sitcoms have died, people are too smart, they see the set-ups coming a mile away, and have seen them for years
You'll notice there's very few out now, compared to a decade or two ago
Most of the big shows are Dramas these days-cop shows, where there can still be plot twists and excitement

Adult cartoons however, the wackiest of the wacky surprises can still happen-and do
That keeps us amused and on our toes about what happens next
Cartoons are the new sit-coms

Family Guy is pretty darn funny

Re: What's Your Favorite TV Show?

It might be because I just watched it tonight but I'd have to say that The Sopranos is my favorite drama.

For sit-coms it's a tie between Two And A Half Men and What About Earl. Both of which are pretty well written comedies, IMO.

The History Channel, Nova, Descovery, Real Time, CNN, Fox News, and a good movie from time to time.

Oh yea.....and anything else to keep my Judy off the food channel.... she gets excited, runs to the kitchen, and some one always gets hurt before the fire trucks arrive.

Ok, I admit it...I'm a Survivor junkie...haven't missed many of them...and that is the only Network show I watch...the rest of the time it is on channels that offer some education.

true. Even 2Wheel Tuesday isn't all about bikes anymore. Previously it was a full 24 hours of nothing but bikes...now you're lucky to get 2 hours straight of it.

I take it you are into bikes?

If so, do you ride?

Re: What's Your Favorite TV Show?

Started with the fancy Satelite package (paying for so many channels and there might have been three I liked), changed to cable (got tired of paying $75.00 a month for something I don't even watch), cancelled cable and went out and bought a $12.00 set of Rabbit Ears. I get 5 channels clear as a bell. I get my morning local and national news, come home from work and get my Simpsons, talk at you guys for a while, keep figuring out how I will rule the world, make my supper and watch Jay. If I get to sleep in a while the next day, I'll stay up for Conan... TV is not as entertaining as I remember it..
