What's Your Favorite Month
As we head into winter, I was thinking (beginner's luck
), what is my favorite month.Well, I decided to ask you all instead. No official poll, just a thread. What's your favorite month? and why? What's your LEAST favorite month? and why? (try not to think in terms, "because it's my birthday month" ) I'll give my answer after a few responses. Remember, this is for fun. No extra credit, no prizes. |

No extra credit? No prizes? Can I get back to you on this thing?
(My favorite month is any month I turn a profit. Otherwise, they are all great...some are just greater than others.) |

I love October. When I lived in Ohio, that was when the leaves turned. In Florida, that's when the truly cooler and enjoyable weather finally arrives.

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
Like Susan said, October when the leaves turn here in Michigan. You don't get much more beautiful than that.
Least favorite - July It's usually hot, many people want you to work around their vacations, all the schoolkids are running around getting in the way and haven't quite settled down from geting out of school.

Favorite: July/August-ish
Three words: Cheerleader Bikini Carwash! Least Favorite: December Not only do I have to admit that it's definitely the rainy season, I also have to put up with the general insanity and horrific behavior of the Christmas season. Mac |

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
Favorite would be September as it is almost always the best weather here. Least favorite is December... The holidays cost so much money, and people are weird.

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
Well in my former years in Canada we had Almost Winter, Winter, Just after Winter and Road Construction...All months were pretty lousy....Actually let me fix that, January was probably the best, snow filled the potholes in the roads and they almost felt smooth

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
Probably May. No holidays, kids still in school and the weather is nice.

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
I absolutely cannot stand January. It's cold, it's depressing...I hate it.
My favorite? Hmmm.....June or October. Both nice weather months here without bugs (mostly)

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
Good answers.
For me: Least Favorite: February. The winter is just dragging on. Most snow comes in Feb (and I don't ski no more), Best thing about February? only 28 days Favorite? Gotta be November. Most of the leaves are raked up. No grass to mow. Work is busy with the holiday deadlines. Cool enough to work hard outside around the house. NO BUGS !! No pool to clean. No humidity. Slow moving and poorly parked landscape trucks & trailers are off the road. No school vacation. No snow yet. Not much heat needed for the house. Air clean and crisp. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
November cause the weather is just right, not hot not cold & the fishing is great. Least favorite is Feb., cause it's the coldest, I hate the cold. That's why I moved to Texas from Ohio. When I was younger it would have been July for the favorite cause all the women wear skimpy clothing, love those morning jigglers, I mean joggers.

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
April/May in Oklahoma....the feel of the air...storm season. Not too hot yet, greening up....least favorite is the cold, period. I work at it to have inside work lined up for the coldest weeks...but thankfully, there are very few days we cannot work outside.

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
Least favorite: March. By this time, I just want the cold to be done.
Favorite: Toss up between May/October. Both the blooms in spring and the leaves in fall in New England are a sight to behold. Favorite day: April 16 (Taxes are done....Yay! )

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
That is not a fair question.
I hate the cold, but I love the holidays, plus it is my busy season, with big profits. I love March, because of the bright days and budding trees and it is the start of Jetski racing. I love September, because Archery season opens. Don't make me chose one. It ain't happening!

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
I hate the heat i don't mind the cold. You can always dress in layers but you can never escape the heat. Ive been working outside this past week in low twenty hi teen weather and it didn't bother me much. As far as picking a favorite month that depends on what perspective? Work? Holiday's?
For work it would be March as work starts to pick up and my sometimes three month slow season is over For holidays my favorite is December as Christmas has always been a favorite of mine running a close second to Thanksgiving. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Month
My favorite month has to be July....it's nice and warm so I can go out and ride my Waverunner on the water after a nice hard day of work. My backyard/playground (the delta) is 2 minutes from my house.
Watching the sun set on the water on a warm summer night is a perfect way to end a day and reflect on my business and life. ![]() ....is it July yet?

Whatever. It's your priority to choose. I did want to keep away from birthday and/or anniversary months. |
