What's Your Favorite Christmas Show/story?

I love the shows this time of year. I know it's being commercial and not true to the value of what Christmas really is about. Some of these shows have great meaning to them.

A Christmas Story - Classic IMO
A Christmas Carol - of course
The Grinch - Cartoon Version

"It's A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
Watching it always makes me count my blessings and appreciate what I've got. Corny, but true.
Funny you should start this thread Framer, I just finished watching that movie.

A Christmas Story, hands down!
Beside loving all things Jean Shepard
(a fellow Hoosier), I knew all of the
people in the story, I wore those clothes
(I can smell the steaming piles of wet wool
in the school "cloak room" when I see the
movie), and we did talk some kid into licking
the flag pole every winter!

That's one of my favorites too.
"cloak room", that brings back memories of first grade. Brick elementary school in southern Ohio built in the 1800's, colder than a well digger's ass outside, and yes, wet wool.

The night they saved Christmas. I saw this movie 3-4 times as a child & have not seen it or even heard of it in over 10 or more years now, I can't even find it on the net.

Bad Santa. Funniest damn movie I ever saw. I made the mistake of watching it the day I had surgery. Almost tore my stitches out. That movie never fails to crack me up.

Re: What's Your Favorite Christmas Show/story?

Glenn Beck's A christmas Sweater, It is a story to many of us can relate to. And seeing so many actually lived it & we are here today, that makes it an oldie!!

Grinch & Bad Santa as well.
There is another one, I forget the name, it is something like Debbie & Dallas, but in a Chrstmas setting.. I just can never make it thru the first 10 mins of it..

Merry Christmas all
