why is the G2 crap so unhealthy?

I always leave the job and go out to buy lunch. Usually at a strip club.

I usually go to whatever diner is close by. There's great value in leaving the job for a little bit to have a decent cooked lunch and clear your head a bit.

Lunch?

You mean to tell me you slackers stop for lunch??

I usually brown bag it. Cold cuts on whole grain sandwich rolls, sometimes I will grill some extra chicken or salmon and make that into sandwiches.

Occasionally go to a local diner/deli or stop at a grocery store and get something, but NEVER at McDonalds and rarely at any fast food joint.

I skip lunch entirely quite often, sometimes even when I have packed lunch.

I pack bottled water in a cooler, I can work with out food but must have water. I stay away from those "Energy Drinks" and usually pass on soft drinks.

Lunch is, for the most part, an unnecessary intrusion in a fine sailing day.

Just ask the boys in the Penitentiary.

Re: What's For Lunch ?

I don't usually pack a lunch but when I do it's usually leftovers from dinner the night before. Often I'll hit a grocery store and pick up a salad, sandwich, or other relatively healthy lunch.

Fast food will kill you quicker than this industry will.

(Some say Gatorade is the drink that made America fat)

Um ya... I'll have the BLT on wheat please. That'd be butt, legs, and t*ts

As far as lunches go I usually pack mine, sandwich, chips, peach or something, yogart, and plenty of water! When I work weekends, sometimes I treat myself to the nearest place and grab some decent food.

Re: What's For Lunch ?

Either:
Two ham or roast beef sandwhiches
Soup
Pasta
Chili
or occasionally I'll pull some good steaks or some hamburger out of the freezer and cook it on the grill at work
Along with that, I'll have a soda and a couple of the following:
Apple
Grapes
Chips
Pineapple
Cheese slices
Canned Peaches
Various dried fruit
Peanut butter crackers
Cookies

I worked today, and lunch was two ham and provolone sandwiches, a coke, apple, Peanut butter crackers, Craisins, and cookies. I probably would have brought some of my girlfriend's chicken chili, except I wasn't near a microwave.
