Question

What's KILLING The Bees

80% have died. At this rate they are will soon be extinct.
Cell phones, lap tops, wireless tech ?
A mite?
Any growers out there?

If the bees die they can't pollinate, if they can't pollinate, we go extinct. Ponder that.

They say it's the micowave energy from the towers that is killing them off, take a look around, you see them everywhere.

Read about it instead of furthering gossip.

Re: What's KILLING The Bees

Might not have anything to do with it but we are seeing some giant bumble bees in our area this year. Giant= 5/8 round by 3/4 long (no I did not kill one and measure it, just an educated quess). I buy honey from a local bee farmer I will ask him if he has heard anything.

Re: What's KILLING The Bees

I killed some with a spray the other day, they were making a hive under a built-in deck bench (that accounts for a few). If only illegal aliens could pollinate, we wouldn't have to worry about the bees, we be set for life.

Why not, one article in the Minnesota Star Trib isn't a definitive answer.

Ya DC the Bumble Bees on my Rhodies were huge this year. I was sitting on my steps near the bushes and said , man those are some big Bumble Bees .They were the 5/8 but I would say an inch long. They were some sumo bees.
