What Are Your Hobbies And Pastimes?

Myself, I have too many hobbies.

I enjoy picking on my Washburn (acoustic) in the evening to relieve stress and to unwind.

I enjoy playing around with website building a little here and there.

I love to watch NASCAR on the weekend.

My favorite, I must say, is making my Habanero Hot Sauce. I've been considering marketing it. I enjoy starting the plants from seed and watching them mature, bearing those mean little rascals, Then the fun starts, Making the sauce. My wife makes me cook it down outdoors, it's like pepper spray when it's cooking!

What do ya'll do as a pastime or hobby?

Play music in bands.. hang out w/ my sweety... spend time on the laptop... I dunno. Drink beer I guess.

Goin' to Maui in the AM for a coupla weeks to visit my sister and play..does that count as a hobbie?

Sometimes I get excited about doing laundry, but I don't think that counts.

Re: What Are Your Hobbies And Pastimes?

No time for hobbies!! I like ot go to the gym and lift weights. That really only goes on during the winter though.

I honestly have no hobbies. I had them, but quit them all. Had no time.

My only proablem is, with no hobbies i got nothing to talk about except work!

Re: What Are Your Hobbies And Pastimes?

Kayaking, fly fishing, fake fishing, sailing, racing sailboats, poker, "on-line research", traveling, flying (taking leasons), scuba (been a few years), target shooting (been a few years), camping (few years again), church (yeah it counts).

Ed, had to bring up the kid thing so, my daughter does most of the above activities with me on occasion. Hopefully she will take up a few of the hobbies on her own when she grows up. My younger daughter (7 months) just smiles and says da da which kicks butt because she does not say ma ma!

Below is a list of my wife's hobbies:

Telling her husband he has to many hobbies.

Re: What Are Your Hobbies And Pastimes?

You can add Scuba Diving to my list, but I just don't get to warm enough waters as frequent anymoe.

Certified in 1973.

128 ft on a drift dive off of Cozumel.
(Lost my rental underwater camera, but someone else found it and returned it---No Charge to me) (Fed some lobsters in their nook, turnabout is fair play I guess)

98 ft off of Molakai
(Saw my first barracuda at the bottom)

138 ft sunken war ship out of Marathon Keys
(Large crab jumped out at me and the pincers almost caught my jewels) (Grabbed a sand shark by the tail. Harmless, I thought. Next week, I read about someone having one clamp down and not letting go of their chest)

3 mast schooner 7 miles out of Burnham Harbor in Lake Michigan, but only 42 ft down. (Get out far enough and its pretty darn clear in the middle of the lake)

Dutch freighter off of Aruba, also somewhat shallow.
(Creapy feeling going through the corridors with no light)

I won't do Lake Michigan ever again after those water temperatures.

Former daredevil thrills also included sky-diving. But, I wouldn't risk it anymore both for my knees sake and more importantly, my families sake.

Ed

DougChips, I was told it is easier on the infant to say Da-Da instead of learning how to purse their lips together and say Ma-Ma. Tell your wife that if you want to make her feel better.
