My wife got me one of those new black and decker crescent wrenches - runs on battery power, automatically adjusts to the correct size with the push of a button. We'll see if it lasts. Pretty cool either way.

The kids had a great day...that is all I really wanted.

Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?

I got a new digital camera, since my old one had died
I also got a new hat, a DMT sharpening stone, a couple of good shirts, and some neat trinkets from lee valley to carry in my tool bags and make my job way easier.

The best though was seeing my family open my gifts to them. I know my parents couldn't wait until I opened the camera!

Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?

Nope...the older one, Kasey, who is 15 months old, has the rocking down....and of course, I didn't have my camera...the younger boy, Taylor, 6 months, doesn't have a clue yet. But it is still a blast.

Next year, I make my wife and daughter grandfather clocks.....I have to make myself make the time.

Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?

Mrs. Ron and I both chipped in for a new 42" LCD Toshiba. We don't have to pay for 12 months so it probably doesn't count as this Xmas

Indiana is a Class III state so there is no problem with full autos.

My semi auto 1919a4 cost $1000

I could have purchased a full auto 1919a4 for $14,000

I decided to save a ton of money & go with the crankfire setup for the semiauto

I also got a $50 gift card to bLowes from my grandpa, bLowes has a sale this week, $10 off any $50 purchase. That makita worm drice circ saw may come home with me for $63 .

Then today my dad said the rest of the tool boxes are in the back of grandpas truck. I said tool boxes , I got a entire set of mechanic toolboxes. Now I need a place to put them and some tools to fill it up.
