Local and state authorities won't hassle you.

Your average pot smoker won't show up on yhe feds radar.

I think it's a good thing. Better stoners than drunks.

Re: Weed Recreationally Legal In 2 States?

Here medical weed has been legal for couple years now. In city and county of denver it is legal (and now recreational weed is now legal) but federal law says its illegal.

We have seen alot of growth from new jobs and 20 million in taxes. We havent had any issues with it being a gateway drug like was predicted.

If alcohol and tobacco are legal, weed should be IMHO.

I'm going to be hanging signs and handing out maps to everyone who wants to move to stoner states...

stoners are generally the dregs and you are welcome to them

Nah, dregs would be meth heads, coke fiends, pill poppers, violent alcholics, and herion addicts.

I have never heard of a couple stoners knocking over a 7-11 for a fix. I have heard of them buying all the good junk food though.

Only conservatives with a stick tightly wedged in their anus have a problem with recreational pot smokers.

BS. Alcoholics are more of a scourge then those who smoke the herb. 75% of convicted felons, in prison, alcohol played a part in the crime they committed, that landed them there.

Doesn't matter the drug or alcohol or the legality you will always have users and abusers. I think all drugs and alcohols should be legal, stop wasting money policing something that can't be policed.

drunks and druggies are both basic undisciplined trash..

degenerate lowlifes who don't have the intestinal fortitude our even the basic courage to deal with life's littlest "problems"..

The start of the pussification of America.

I tend to agree, or those who choose the lifestyle and enjoy it.

I predict a spike in accidents at speeds below 10 mph.

I can remember when most contractors would hire a stoner over a redneck every time.

Rednecks spent all their money on beer and often showed up with a hang over.

Stoners get stoned after work and get a good nights sleep. They wake up and get to work on time...

It does I think
Best way to fight cash cropping drug dealers is to take away their clients, not their supply. Can't arrest all the users of something no worse than booze but you can tap their economy by having them buy from a legit business you tax and get your cut from plus state goverments will also save tons by not spending chasing pot farms, which can cost millions.

Should give the Feds more time to focus on real drugs and other stuff they need a handle.

Everyone wins.

OK, so wouldn't this really change nothing until the Fed legalizes it? Or am I just missing something here? Thanks.

It does change, think of it like the end of prohibition.....just slower. The Federal goverment only cares about big fish. Enfocring federal law to residents in those states for having a dimebag won't happen.

The guy sending 15lbs across state lines is a different story though.
