We Are Screwed

I'm not that old, but things have changed so much regarding young people. I just came from getting gas an the girl behind the counter was wearing pajamas, and as she took my money didn't say thank you............it was more like she was doing me a favor. I watch kids walking around the local college, they should be in the prime of life.........and most looked soft and out of shape.........walking around in a daze........head down. I don't blame the kids..............they are only acting the way they were trained by their parents.

P.S. I could be wrong in my assessment.

Here's a quick thought... what you've described does make the good ones stand out!

And this is exactly what our parents said too, LOL.

I took my son to a double a game the other night and I gotta say I think the gene pool is empty. Freaks everywhere.

Re: We Are Screwed

Well guys Im 21 and have to agree with everything everyone said so far. Most of my freinds were older folks and one of my best friends died already. I just dont get along with people in my age group for the reason you all said. Im into tractors, tools, construction, that sort and most people in my age group that I knew anyways were completly stupid. Drugs drinking and doing anything thats retarded is whats popular. I want to restore farm equipment and they want to go vandalize something. A 18yr old guy I know spray painted a road sign and he thought that was so awesome. And what neal said about the girl in the PJs I dont understand that, I see it to and would be embaressed to dress like that.

I could understand what neal said about the college kids though, if there like me they already have high blood pressure and back pain. I may be 21 but Im also middle age. I try to stay healthy but its just not happening, Im 5'9" maybe 10" and 170lbs so I guess I could shed a few pounds. One of my best friends died a few weeks back at age 47. I bought one of his tractors and I think I may sell it because its making my blood pressure go up even more. Dont buy a IH

There's a whole world out there. Generalizations just show you how small your world is. Got to a crappy community college in meth country and yeah, there will be alot of cracked out wierdos. Take a step onto a top notch campus, like CAL, Stanford or UCLA and you will see twenty year olds who are literally shifting the world that you live in.

You want to buy a IH 484? Im not really planning on selling it it but get it going. The IH 140 is a heck of a nice tractor but this 484 just wants to die. My dads JD 5500N 4wd with a cab and loader is one of the nicest tractors Ive seen. I would like to have a JD 2355 with a loader.

Re: We Are Screwed

Really depends where you look. As a young person I see many of my peers who will likely amount to nothing more than a burden to my tax bill. I see others who will be the rich homeowners and successful workers that will be the ones using my services in the future.

I also see plenty of people in the older generation whom I look up to and respect greatly. There are also those "adults" who treat their wives like dirt, cheat honest people, run shotty businesses, and raise terrible children
