Watches Some Guys Place Granite Slab Today

Very interesting! Big piece of slab. It was probably 8" thick x 4' long x 6' wide. They were placing it on top of some other pieces of granite. They had this boom truck with a strap lifting it into place.

To get the straps out without pinching them there, they used ice to support the block, pulled the strap out and waited for the ice to melt. I've heard about this before. What a smart person that was to think about this! Think I read this in JLC recently.

Yup, I've moved safes into place that way too, put a bunch of ice on the floor, scoot the safe into place and let it melt.

Yeah, I think they used ice to set a house on it's foundation.
