Some of the first early thunderstorms moving into the area. Sitting home on a rainy monday. i should be doing some bills, but instead i am on CT, and spacing out to some bad TV.

Re: Thunder

I wouldn't mind just the rain. Yesterday it was almost 60 degrees, now today it's 35 and spitting snow.

Re: Thunder

I worked for an hour yesterday morning until it started raining. Hooking up a generator with a whole house transfer switch, damn meter socket/disconnect are right under the eaves where i have to tie in the transfer switch . Wife is mad as hell i didnt work, i guess she doesnt understand that water and live power dont mix. All my work right now is outdors so this weather is boning me. Maybe i should dig out the insurance papers to see how much she increased my death benifit?

Re: Thunder

I lost power for 3-4 hours on Friday at the shop. Had 2 jobs going and was planning on starting the second at around 5 o'clock. Lost 2 of 3 legs at around 3. All I could do was use my sander and a halogen light. None of my 220v machines would fire up.

On Monday we went down to Mystic where we had some pretty hard rain and a bunch of thunder and lightning in the afternoon. But we were working in side and they have a large screened in porch that we were using for our larger tooling. The rest of the week looks dismal.
