POS fees??? Not around here! If I had to pay fees I'd take out an allowance in cash every week. Deposit check, minus cash amount for running money.

Re: Things I Hate

I hate getting lied to by a supplier, then having to spend almost triple for materials to keep the job on schedule.

That's twice I have almost had to delay a job, so goodbye supplier.

Re: Things I Hate

The "its a long weekend lets leave at lunchtime" attitude.
The "what are you doing mr hotshot" attitude.. uh.. Laying out the upper steps (thinking ahead) to keep you working.
The "you are not the boss, i can take a 30 min break" attitude.
To basically summarize, the attitudes i have been faced with lately..
Seems like i am the only one with work and production in mind.

Re: Things I Hate

Worked on a job 3 hours away and came home last night. On the way back we grabbed a pizza.

I haven't been this sick in a long time. I tried to work this morning, took me twice as long to do it and I had to tell the boss I'd come in tomorrow to take care of the rest.

In summary, I hate trying to figure out which end to put on the toilet.

Re: Things I Hate

I'm alright as long as I don't eat anything. I've had 3 failed attempts to eat today. Just trying out number 4. I am so hungry. Hopefully the pepto does the trick. I've got a date tomorrow, I don't have time for this.

Think of it this way, it's your body's way of getting rid or something bad. As soon add its all gone, you'll feel better.

I had to wear one of my kids diapers one day for a trip to the hospital to try and convince them to give me some intravenous gravol so I could stop losing fluids. Lost almost 10lbs that day I could barely stand

Having nothing to do on long weekends.
People who don't wear a tool belt and expect me to be a constant supply of nails and tools.

Nasty shower pan demo days. No pre-slope, and nails through the liner into the curb. I'd bet there was 40lbs of 12 year old water in it. Stank doesn't even begin to cover it..

Re: Things I Hate

I had to replace a dishwasher in an apartment about two yrs ago. Shortly after I arrived, set up, I opened the dishwasher door. Huge mistake. The dirty digester was about three weeks old and was the worst smelling thing I have ever come across. Just thinking about it makes me nauseous.

Yep. Used it every day. Surprisingly it didn't smell until I broke the "seal"... I think it was the seal to hell by the way lol.
