Re: Things I Hate

I don't even eat or drink after my own family. I have been known to drink after hot chick's while partying though.

My wife always gives me a funny look when I do that.

Yes it is.

I have 10.2 on my iPhone, according to the phone it is the latest update.

Again--

Tap the "I"

Locate the phone icon in the header bar---tap the arrow next to it.

Another page will come up.

"Block this Caller" is at the bottom of the list.

EDIT---Sorry I did not read the posts after the one I quoted. Please accept my most humble apology for this post.

Auto-updates on phones... my kids phone just auto-updated and it deleted everything included on his SD-Card...

It should definitely be a password-protected activity...

Re: Things I Hate

After a ice storm hit town. I don't waste time doing estimates for people to submit to there insurance . most think we all have time to donate doing estimates for them. It seems insurance companies don't have estimators as much anymore and want home owners to run around getting bids for them. So glad they pay insurance every month to get horrible service when they need it.

I get referred to someone from a good customer. I say send me pictures and copy of the insurance report. And I'll take a look at it. It use to be 10 and 10 profit and overhead for contractor (which is low and bunk as it is) but not doing the math it's lower then 10 and 10.............I just went blind seeing it's lower and stopped there. The homeowner said a truss or rafter was split. So I'm guessing the adjuster didn't know about that when. They did the report

Re: Things I Hate

Tried to register for technical training on a government website. Went well until I tried to pay and the website stopped working. Now my registration is in limbo till I can call the office on tuesday to clear things up.

They always advertise the website as slick and intuitive. In reality it's anything but.

That my brand new dishwasher is already broken. Not even three weeks old, probably used it 6 times. I had to shim the latch to make it catch. It wasn't an expensive one, but I expected at least a few years before we had any issues.

Hopefully it had at least a 90 day warranty. Not that will make you feel any better.

going on our third refrigerator in just under 3 years.

all matter of parts been replaced.

no visible signs of refrigerant leak.

will not hold a vacuum.

turns out it is a refrigerant leak in a capillary inside the cavity.

I wonder if "the office" connects you to a fine young person in Malaysia?

Fortunately it will be someone local to my city. Government employees get to have the day off tomorrow though so it'll have to wait a couple days.

Normally I like dealing with forms and websites and automated processes because there isn't a caller queue to deal with and I can be absolutely sure that all the information is there.

What's funny is the government tax website sure runs fast. Can't imagine why...

I don't like talking to people on the phone either.

You can admit it.

I bought a Sony flat screen TV last year from Sears.

It had problems out of the box.

Between getting it sent back and having the Sears charge card credited, I bet I was on the phone 5 hours....with wonderful folks from somewhere way west of the United States.

I mean that in all sincerity...wonderful folks. Just not the wonderful folks that speak fluent enough English for me to understand easily.

I am as polite as can be and try to get connected to someone on the mainland...my mainland, but sometimes that doesn't work either.

I believe the word is ..."arhhhhh".
