Things To Do In Seattle??

So I'm heading up next week for a few days. Best friends little sister just got pregnant a few months ago and we feel the need to go check things out....terrorize the guy who BTW works construction (that's all I know at this point). Anyhow it's also just a chance to get the hell out of Dodge for a few. I know of one thing in Seattle and that is the Boeing factory. I would love to do a tour of that...haven't checked it out yet. Also Safeco field. I want to go check out that park. Other than that....what the hell else is there to do. We're staying down town a few blocks from some place called Pikes place....or something. Any ideas are appreciated

Go to Pikes Place....and watch out for the flying fish!!!

Go through the underground Seattle, which is right there.

Space Needle.

Mt. Rainier

Omnidome

Imax

Glacier Caves

Take the ferry over to the Olympic Peninsula

Go island hopping

Go see WallMaxx

BTW, go to the Boeing plant in Everett, not Renton. Biggest building in the world last I knew.

I could be here all day y'know!

Funny story about Seattle....I was there in 1990 with a few friends...and we were walking around Pike's Place Market...and then down to the waterfront. Well....it looked like the Space Needle was only a "few" blocks away....uphill...no problem. Seemed like we walked uphill a few miles before we got there, and then discovered we were not dressed appropriately for dinner....never occurred to me that was 4 or 5 star dining.

If you like Salmon order it at a restaurant there. There is such a difference in the taste in Pacific Northwest. There are a couple nice restaurants on the water but I can’t remember the names now. Call ahead about the Boeing Tour. I think the 747 factory is in another city, Renton?

You could also take a ferry somewhere. As you are flying in you will see Mt. Rainer and more trees than I have seen flying into any other city.

For your salmon go to Ivars salmon house on Lake Union. Boeing is interesting, try the Aquarium and waterfront area, near Safeco and Quest Fields.
