Oh please, you know it wasn't the catfish show...it was the knitting show!
My wife saw the dudes and thought I'd look real cute in that for a Halloween party

Details....
Second pic, sketchy scaffolding, and they were using an excavator to bring up mud, and a bucket brigade to fill the columns. Understandable. I spoke with a local contractor and found out the local labor rate is around 350 baht/day. about $11US a day for the top workers.
The GO GO show was gross. We saw baby turtles vacating the lady's privates. The wiggled. The dart trick was cool, she shot a dart from, well, you know, and hit a balloon on the ceiling.
Strange place for a honeymoon. Teenage prostitutes everywhere available for around $30US per night. My wife was interested in the sex industry culture, and interviewed everyone who would talk.
The beaches were good, the water warm. The food was excellent and cheap. I drank Singha Beer as a staple... no good beer to be found. All in all a great time.
We got robbed only once... our hotel room was riffled and we lost a bit of cash and my wife lost a couple of cheep rings, not a big deal, and we were glad we were pretty careful.
Lots more details if anyones interested.

Well, that brings Swamp Eel Show into much more clarity! She'd be a hell of an assassin w/ poison darts!

Also, here's the Thai "lady boys" (trannies), a temple at the bottom of a 300' cave, and some friends we made in tokyo....

I suggested the donkey show, but wifey thought it might be a little too much. She's a good sport and all, but too much is too much I guess.
