I trust all you Texans are gonna be voting the Kinkster Governor.

Too bad he wasn't from Calif or NY - course then he wouldn't be the Kingster.

Who is the Kinkster ?

Kinky Friedman. Country singer, mystery writer, real smart guy.

He's going to stop illegal immigration into Texas by paying the Mexican General in charge of that section of border 2 million US a year. But he will deduct $10,000 from that amount for every mexican he catches who makes it across, and has to send back. I wouldn't want to be that mexican - would you?

He also says if gays want to get married and the legislature wants to pass something on it - he won't veto. He says they have a constitutional right to be just as miserable as the rest of us.

Now is he a guy who makes sense or what?

I'll just copy and paste my WWT respoinse.

I did vote early again. Only way to go. No lines. No crowds. I get to vote right in the courthouse and don't have to travel an extra 2 miles to vote in the old Armory.
I am ready to give up on the ballots though. I've been saying it's time for bullets for a long time.
I say if you've ever heard their name before just write someone else in. They're all rascals and thieves and liars and whores and it's time to start with a clean slate.
My sister knows Kinky well. You wouldn't vote for him either if you knew what I know. Nope. Kinky is not the answer. He's just a great marketer like all politicians.

Ah, but I won't get started on all this sewage.

kinky friedman---I have given him some support--bought a bumper sticker and a coffee cup.he would probably be as good a govenor as anyone.his platform is a 6pack of beer in every refrigerator.

Anyone who can get away with songs like his gets my vote.
He is one funny and smart man!

Considering his stance on issues I think he is a great choice.
I love these quote:
