Some Thing Neat Happened.

Something neat happened today.. Went to work just had a house to pressure wash was home by ten was home about an hour looked out the window and saw a bunch of old restored tractors comming down the road. Some dating back to the early 30s most 40s and 50s. We all sat on the porch and watched them go past. Took about an hour for them all to go by. I knew they where going to be at the fair grounds but I didn't know they were comming past the house.

That is so cool. I love old tractors and heavy equipment, the work and inginuity that went into them is awsome. No CAD machines, no computers, just good old American knowhow and brute strength.

I have one but I have never been one to take pictures. I allways say I am going to start taking before and after pictures. Have caried a camera in my truck for four years have some befores, some afters but only about three jobs with before and afters.

Mike I know what you mean they work and are fairly simple. I have a 1944 AC that I planed on restoreing. Got it tore down 18 months ago and just don't work on it. Think I am going to try and sell it.

Second parade in a week. My back yard looks across a field to route 80. Yesterday was the annual Illinois freedom run. Over 10,000 bikes were involved in the run from the Chicago Speedway to Marseilles, IL. - where the wall honoring all the men and women killed in the Middle East resides. I watched it from my back yard what a sight all those bikes running down the highway in a continuos line. I mention these things because ussually I don't see much happen where I live.
