So You Wanna Fight? - I Need An Opponent

I signed up for So You Wanna Fight ( http://www.soyouwannafight.com/index2.html ) this weekend. Only two others in my weight class signed up which is OK but they didn't show up for weigh in so I have no one to fight. Anyone out there up for the challenge? I am in the 135 to 145 weight class.

I am sooo disappointed I have been getting really pumped about this. It's not to late to enter, please help me find someone willing go a couple rounds!

Fights are tomorrow night at Beban Park in Nanaimo

I would, except I couldn't get there in time and I would have to chop off both of my legs to make that weight.

Re: So You Wanna Fight? - I Need An Opponent

Rory, a year and a half ago I was 205lbs. I went on a huge diet with a lot of HIIT training and it dropped off like a rock. Now the key is keeping it off. The problem is that I love to eat, I am not going to lie, I like to go out to restaurants and eat good food, unfortunately it caught up with me quick. So that has almost come to a stop since losing all the weight. I couldnt believe how much more energy I had after dropping the pounds.

Trust me I know I was a health and work out addict all my life. I got lazy during the boom for 2 years and gained 40lbs. So I have been knocking off the pounds gradually. Summer is coming so I am motivated to drop the last 20lbs

I hear you, when your busy its tough to stay motivated about the diet/workout. I also did a lot of my hardest working out in the summer, because working in the heat, makes me not hungry and your constantly sweating. Oh one more thing, I loved Coca-Cola, probably had 3-5 a day. Now, I have not had a soda/pop drink in more then a year and will never be able to go back. I drink water 100% with every meal and love it!

I'm 5'8 at most....probably closer to 5'7.

My weight suits me well, I'm in good shape. I have a crazy metabolism. If I'm doing hard physical labor I eat everything in sight and can easy put on 15 pounds of muscle in less than a month.....and lose it again just as fast when I get lazy

All I know is the girls think I'm buff, 160 lbs at 5,8". Fighting is no fun after 35 though. If you aren't using mostly your brain by then you probably got hit in the head too many times.

Yep. I ain't no punk. But I can talk my way out of most jams. Seems like it takes forever to heal after 35
