So...what Happened?

I have been busy, and haven't been able to check in here as much as I used to. I was looking for something on here and noticed a member has sort of vanished (maybe).

So, who can tell me what happened to cdac?

He deleted all his own posts, and asked Nathan to delete his account. He said somethign to the effect that he was tired of arguing with "cyber contractors", or something along htose lines. His choice all the way.

Don't blame him considering I have been building for 11+ years and I even I know a techie (..err read) that couldn't hack it as geeks that think they can steal this trade. Remember I know people that have built the programs that some of you wannabes run. Oh I love Seattle. You guys wanna play poker

Re: So...what Happened?

Thanx gents. my whole reasoning was not ego, hurt feelings or anything of that nature, it was simply I was not going to have my signature linking to my website associated with a thread where I was offering something of possible interest to a fellow DECKBUILDER then a couple of Jack-@ff$ start reaming my work for code violations. I urge, no, I challange those knuckle heads to find a code violation relevant to my work, if you do I'll buy you a case of your favorite beer for you and 3 of your buddies and have a limo pick you up for a night at Cheerleaders gentlemans Club in Philly, deal. I just stopped by and read your post Chris. I like the fact you didnt want your company bashed in any way. I had a guy do that here to that to me. We squashed the problem real quick.

Great to have you back.

Re: So...what Happened?

They bashed for code violations? And you got mad? So you signed off and left, just to come back under a different name? Couldn’t you just delete your signature or whatever the link was that angered you? You could have contacted Nathan and had him rectify the situation from his end of the site. This Nathan guy must be a nice guy, because other Admins would put a ban on your IP for littering up the site (with dead cdac posts) and the signing back under a different member name. You threw a virtual temper tantrum and now back thinking you have a clean slate. I am still trying to figure the sense in this move…and if it comes to me, I will add on to this thread at a later date.

Re: So...what Happened?

Like I said, it's got nothing to do with ego or anger, it is me looking out for my best interest. frankly I don't give a damn what your opinion of this move is, it's not about a clean slate, or being part of the gang, or seeking acceptance, its a forum full of tidbits of information, trade secrets, meathods, knowledge, tools, ect. with alot of excess calories(metaphor). my actions however childish you may see them is me policeing up my thoughts and ideas before I go. Mabey my input was garbage mabey it wasn't. I had a change of heart about this and decided to come back as another name, and It wasn't to argue with you.

I'm running most of the leads now and thus have little time for anything else, but there is so much more to do. I pop in every couple hours just to clear my mind and relieve some stress then go right back tot he coal mine slaving away. Ok ranting is over, time to mine some coal.

Re: So...what Happened?

You hit the nail on the head there Grump, salesman can be a wierd bunch. Back when I had sales staff I stayed out of there way. I let them do thier thing from just an oversite type position. A nudge here and there to keep direction. You get more than three together and it turns into rock band type mentality. Fighting bickering complaining and drinking ....... Sorry..... maybe that applies everywhere.
