Poker on Wednesdays ... Pokeher every 3 days.
Grandkids sleep over just about every other weekend alternate between sons... ... we try to have a BBQ by the pool night at least once every two weeks. the MOST important thing for us is space, remember my rule of thirds? 1/3 time just for my wife 1/3 of the time for our family and 1/3 of the time just for me ... 8 hours sleep or rest 8 hours work 8 hours play = 24 hours happy person. Being single shouldn't be all that different from being Married ... just well fed. |

... my 10 & 13 year old Grand kids brought me an Xbox 360 last time they were here, now I can play "Gears of war" on "live" over the internet from each others house! I talk to them with an ear piece just like it was a phone, they invite other friends from school and tell everyone that I'm grampa, everyone let's out a Huge roar whenever I blow up one of their friends they laugh and think it's cool that I'm on-line.
I like chopping up the grubs with the chainsaw gun ...

Yes, that's a very happy life way to go until the very end of any human being!... I have seen lots of grandpa, grand ma lives long & happily like that untill they are 90+, 100+ old ...They have no sickness/illness and know when it is ready time to quit or leave the world ... and when they leave the world, they just sit, lie in bed & "sleep away" in their favorite rocking chair while children/grand children having fun party nearby...etc  ... Often times, when passing away in this situations, their happy souls are released into heaven abode (for past good Karmic deeds/fortune accumulated from their good previous lives).... I hope??

Yeah apparently "Halo" something something is going to be a huge event in the next few days, I played the first one (or the second) I dunno what the big fuss is I like Gears of war much better...

I'm taking my 13 year old driving again, this Sunday morning ... in Aug, just a few days before his 13th birthday I took him to the Mall parking lot at 5:30am without telling his dad (my son) if they come over this weekend we'll do it again.
I had him crossing the lamp posts like a pro! I set up cones at the edge of the parking stall and had him try and park the car without touching the "cones", Reverse still has him beat. the lesson is: learn to drive so that you'll never be a passenger in one of your friends cars, you never know when they will do something stupid (like I did when I started driving) I think he has the right temperament to know better, but driving has to be like; yeah, been there done that already ... |

Spend some time in the shop/garage fiddling...making stuff, organizing, drinking (but make it look productive). I suggest cooking a meal and leaving a plate for your wife when she gets home, once in a while....Nothing major, just maintenance!... I'm all for getting a few drinks in, but in order to do that you've got do something now and then....

Shopping or Window shopping at Harbor Freight, Home Depot on Friday nights. Cleaning the truck and organizing the garage/shop. Catching up on paperwork and drinking a bunch of cold ones.

working on my place and when I am at school (not this semester) I am uh.. at school. My son lives with me so I am single w/ domestication
 Stuff with him or surrounding/raising him.

At this rate I'll get to see my Great grand kids, that's what life is all about .... that, and wimmin!
I have a lot of respect for my friend, she's still raising her kids until the youngest is 18, until then No "Dating" ... I'm just glad I can help with the 'chores' once and a while. life is good when your a little bad. |
