Snowing In Vermont

1st snow fall of the season. It started pretty light about 5am this morning and thought it would only last for a short while but it seems to be coming down harder now.

I guess were going to get an early start at the snow season.

Not possible, "Global Warming", it's probably some sort of new pollution or something.

Jason -

Don't tell Al Gore. It will ruin his global warning plan.

I imagine it is good to see some snow. - It could be worse if it was sleet or a cold rain.

Re: Snowing In Vermont

No snow here yet, and I'm glad. May have to mow the lawn again though. The time between not having to mow and not having to plow is way too short.

Overnights are dipping into the 20's and snow is in the forecast tonight.

Good Luck
Dave

I wish it would at least cool down here. It is almost November and it's in the mid 90's today.

Re: Snowing In Vermont

11:30 PDT and it's hot as all hell. Hot air blowing hard from the North creates alot of fires. South of Santa Barbara has already has some brush fires. It was 87 about 2 miles from the ocean. THat is abnormally warm for this area. Call Al Gore and tell him his Global warming is on the West coast. He'll be happy to sell you Carbon Offsets at an inflated price of course! He can fly his fuel sipping G4 to collect the checks.

Re: Snowing In Vermont

Jason,

Did you get enough to measure yet? We didn't get any. Not complaining though, they do tend to be wrong the first couple of times they predict it. I'll be mowing this weekend if it quits raining.

Good Luck

Re: Snowing In Vermont

No snow here, just cool aand a frost to kill the pollen/hayfever.

When I filled up with gas yesterday, there were 3 SUVs with loaded snowmobile trailers fueling up also. One was driven by a priest, so the snow apparently will happen.

We just don't get enough snow early to make many people happy. About ten years ago, we got something like 15" on Halloween. Three days later, it was gone and the ground stayed brown until after New Years.
