SIGN IN A STORE WINDOW


"WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN"

This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Philadelphia .

You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be marching on this business and that the National Guard might have to be called to keep the angry crowds back. But, perhaps in these stressful times one might be tempted to let the proprietors simply make their statement . After all, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty. And after all, it is just a sign.
You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign?
























Answer: A Funeral Home
(Who said morticians had no sense of humor?)

Too bad my response got deleted before many got to see it. I will try to tone it down a bit.

Color was never mentioned. There are all kind of differant terrorists out there. White, black, brown, yellow. It does not matter what color they are, if they are terrorists they all deserve the same ending.

Realize this though. This war on "terrorists" is a falacy. You will never rid the world of terrorists with violent actions, only create more. It's like every other "war" our country has declared. Take the war on drugs for example. It has made the prison industrial complex one of the largest, most lucrative, and fastest growing industries in our country.

Al-quaeda itself is nothing more than a call to action for young people everywhere. To quote the times online website This is the true nature of al qaeda and not one that can be stopped with fighter jets and night vision goggles. This is the reason why I keep posting in opposition, because this whole war has been based on lies, and THAT is publicly known FACT. Why people continue to lash out at an invisible target that can't be hit is something I can't begin to fathom.

No need for being harsh to each other, or write posts that need erased and "toned down". I'm not the enemey. I'm just trying to educate my fellow country men who seem to not be seeing the whole picture. This tunnel vision can be extremely dangerous to world peace as a whole, and has already caused irreversable damage.

AA, You have your opinion and as far as I'm concerned, you are entitled to it. I am not a rascist myself, I see people for who and what their actions say they are. If one tends to be a terrorist by actions then that is what I may classify him as. I don't think skin color has anything at all to do with that. Look at the guys that blew up the Fed building in Oklahoma, they were white boys. I would classify them as terrorist. As far as the War on Terror goes, it seems about like Bill Murray chasing that gopher in the movie Caddyshack to me. You really don't know where or when to strike them nor do you know where or when they may strike you. But we must protect ourselves as best as we can.
Bottom-line, I don't like the people, white, black, yellow, brown or purple that won't stand up and fight like a man!

What do you propose we do when thousands of innocent AMERICANS are killed on our own soil. Go to the UN? I guess we should not have gone to war with Japan and Germany too right. The only problem is George Bush wasn't born then so who do you blame that on. I guess you probably think Bush blew up the towers too right.

It does say something pretty well, but it still doesn't address pilaging whole countries to go after a few extremists. That approach will never work, and even considering it as a viable option is, at best, a complete waste of time.
