Scare On The Highway Today

So I'm driving down the highway this morning doing about 75, windows closed, a/c on, Stones on the radio and all of a sudden I hear boom, boom, boom. Is it a blowout, a broken drivesaft, an earthquake? No it's Rapper Dude in his Honda with the big fat subs How do they do it? Don't get me wrong, I love a loud, quality, system but the decibels these guys are pumping out is sick yo!
Do you think they're going deaf?

Re: Scare On The Highway Today

A long time ago, I was in the MEPS doing my pre entrance physical and tests, ( I was 25), and saw lots of 17 and 18 year old guys who were passed due to hearing loss...the examiner kept saying...all the loud music was keeping lots of guys from joining the military. I have seen cars and trucks with the windows literally moving in and out with a bass thump...so no wonder they can't hear and need even more volume.

I get a kick out of the kids who pull up beside you at a red light. They have their Honda Civic set up with bass speakers that could fill a concert hall. You can't even hear your own 120Watt sound system because all you hear is the spot welds on their body panels letting go and the seals on their windows failing. It's not boom boom but more like buzz buzz. Hilarious!!!

We laugh about this all of the time.

Take your basic $800 Monte Carlo with a gazillion miles on it, throw on about $2K of paint, $6K of 22" wheels and tires and another $6K of sound. We be coo! On the outside it sounds like a bunch of BB's in a tin can, everything rattles.

I'm working on one of Tesla's experiments in ultra low freq's but will have to buy a diesel vehicle to play with it. It will kill even the old ignition systems. I'm working on making it directional.

mrmojo, take this off of the board and e-mail me for details. I'm working on numerous projects so be sure to remind me of the one that you are interested in. Too much going on and I'm thriving until the next heart attack.
