Re: Savannah, GA Trip

Tim. a guy I work with stays at the desoto about 2 times a year.
I stay at the Savannah beach and racket club, located just as you arrive on Tybee Island.
You have a good view of Ft. Puloski, and all the cargo ships coming down river.
Here is a link to the Savannah River Boat.

I haven't been there since 2005, and I getting a hankering to go soon.

You pay for gas and beer and I will take you on my boat fishing on the Savannah river. We can go up river catfishing or down river for some redfish and spotted sea-trout . I went out last week and tore the catfish up along with a few Red's.

There is a Savannah river tour boat though if you want to go that route.

Most of the best historical sites are downtown Sav. and Ft Pulaski.
