Re: Was Santa Good To You ?

A bunch of family and friends got together and bought me a bunch of gift cards this year. You name it, Starbucks, Home Despot, Osh, Sears, Barnes and Noble, etc. And my 12 year old son pasted them into a book and illustrated next to each one. Not bad.
I think they are telling me that I'm hard to buy for. Works for me.

I wonder if anybody got something BIG. Like a new F-350 or something.

Re: Was Santa Good To You ?

My wife surprised me with a new wedding band (tungsten steel!!).
I also got a soft sided gun case for my .22, and a few other smaller items. The new ring was a shock... I've wanted one, but was totally surprised!

Say what?!? So when do we start calling you Ol' Nine Fingers?

I got a fairly nice camera. Nothing else of particular note, 'cause I have a tendency to 'see it, want it, get it.' Though said tendency is getting reined in a bit these days...

Besides the gifts, yesterday, being able to enjoy bike riding, (mid 70's here) watching kids open gifts, them smiles, to me has always been the greatest gift each Christmas, of course riding on Christmas runs a close 2nd now, hahaha
But still nothing can ever repalce the gift of watching kids open their gifts with the smiles and the look in their eyes.

Clamps, belt sander, lettering kit for the router, work clothes chit like that. Christmas is about the kids around here. My grandaughter will turn 2 in January and I can't get over how much fun she is. I got her a Squier Mini Strat. Along with her "babies", cooking stuff so she can help "nanny" she had a great day!

A blown engine block. You know how hard it is to buy a new van over the holidays?

Other than that, AC/DC tickets for next month. That'll kick ass

Re: Was Santa Good To You ?

I got a giant pile of presents for my 3 year old daughter to unwrap. I didn't need anything, wanted a few things, little out of santa's budget though.

This year was the best so far for my girl, she has the whole christmas thing figured out. Seeing her so happy, all most crazy with joy was the best present I have had yet!!!
