On The Road To Vegas

yup - we're out here one week and a bit in sunny (I hope) Las Vegas. I got my $20 to put on roulette - then for the rest of the week, I'll be searching out tool stores.

hope to find some fein multimaster blades cheaper than here! maybe not, other years I've found that tools are the same price or more.

I'm being made to pack "good clothes" apparently carhar's and steel toe'd work books are not the outfit of choice LOL

maybe take a bath too... geez, this big city stuff!

ok, time for coffee! gotta hang a bunch of doors today

tomorrow we fly away!

Re: On The Road To Vegas

Reminds me of that story where the guy is going to Vegas and his buddy gives him $100 to bet for him. When he gets back the buddy says, Well, how I do?

Guy says you did real good. In fact, you got layed.

Going to Veags to buy tools???

Have fun

Re: On The Road To Vegas

LOLOL yup, I knew it - never give a sucker an even break

We're staying with my wife's sister and her husband. Attending a seminar. Maybe see some shows, go out for dinner, and visit some friends

I mean, I'm going with my wife, how much trouble can I get into???

(I may regret that statement..... or not )

ok the doors are calling, my client lives 8 minutes drive away really good folks too, she is concerned that you can see the bifold door track when you stand close and look up - he's happy as hell that the "gap" is consistent and told her that its normal. OK

so the next challenge is the original track is mounted flush, and the doors are level - but the gap on the left is 1/4" (from the valance to the top of the door) and 3/4" on the right. Level the new doors, which are smaller than the opening, now we have gaps on the sides.. sigh. Gonna level the track and overhang the trim- this is the customers request! and it sorta works, but leveling that track? what a pain. This calls for more coffee

Laurie.
