NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.

Dude had game. All the way from Alcorn State to the superbowl. He was one of those football guys that was also drafted in baseball.

pretty crazy stuff. its normal to hear about nfl guys getting in accidents this time of year do to having a little fun last minute before training camp starts but not this extreme

I heard the tale end of the report on the radio while at the jobsite "Tennesse Titans Quaterback dead from gun shot wound" I figure Vince Young got all depressed again about making millions setting on the bench and finally killed himself.

Latest I heard is that a white girl (earlier that night in a restaurant he was in) who said he gave her a 'roofie-rape' a year ago threatened her boyfriend was going to murder him. A few hours later he was dead.

Former NFL star quarterback Steve McNair was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in a Nashville condominium Saturday - and authorities hinted he was murdered by a girlfriend who then turned the gun on herself.

Obvious from the get-go it was a murder/suicide. Especially when they were not looking for any suspect(s).

More than likely a murder suicide, Steve had multiple gunshot wounds and the girl who was not his wife had a sigle gunshot wound and the Police are not looking for suspects at this time and they don't think Steve's wife (now widow) was involved.
