Rednecks - Its Not Just A Southern Thang

So...I was meeting a builder at the local Lowes parking lot. Our conversation stopped when I saw...this....ah....thing.

Then it was a race to see who could get to their camera first.

I'm not sure how this is street legal.

There are rednecks everywhere, I have been to the Caribbean, East Coast, Penn., and anywhere in between. Your gonna find a redneck no matter where you look.

I like how he's got one rope going across the front to hold the hot tub, as though he tied that down and said; "now she's safe for the highway..."

Must be no one told him that Lowes delivers.

Who is to say that he is buying it? He might be returning it after he picked it up from the local jobsites. Oh and the "rack" was built from "scraps" that he found on the sites. He was just cleaning up the site for the builder. He was being helpful.

If that truck was red, and a GMC I'd swear that that was Leo G. delivering another kitchen job.

Wallmaxx, looks like Juan may have moved up your way. I bet it took him and a six-pack of buddies a couple of hours to scab that mess together. Looks like he did it right there since the wood is new and there are scraps on the ground in front of the truck. I sure hope he needed that lumber for the job since he could have rented one of Lowe's trucks, or had it delivered, for less than the wood cost.

Did you ever notice that the "Red-Neck, Southern connection" is always placed on this type of photo?

I'm going to have to lodge a complaint on this connection in concerns to this photo. I have lived in the south all of my life and NEVER, NEVER done anything like this.

I must admit that is one of the craziest things I've seen in my life!

Well, being from Spring, TX...the thought of making my own ladder rack out of PT lumber, has crossed my mind.

If I wasn't on a tight schedule, I would have followed him in cold pursuit. I know that would have been better than watching ANY train wreck.
