Re: Record For Cheapest Paint Job

I'd like to see what a $25 paint job would look like. The guy must ride his bicycle to the jobsite. I couldn't really drive to much of anywhere for 25 bucks.

He wonders why he can't eat, a room must cost more than $25.00 in materials even if you use cheap stuff.

How much water do you have to add to paint to get to this price? Do you get to pick your color or just go with the box store mismatch?

Skilled experienced painter, handyman, patch, repair, small drywall, carpentry.
Will beat any estimate, for a better, faster job. Call 702-287-2994, leave message.

If this guy will beat the price then I just found $24.99. Cheaper and faster--I would hope so.

Too late. I just called him.

Basically told him that he was a paint wh0re, and ruining our trade.
He asked "what do you mean" as I hung up on him.

I found a new "craigslist" www.blurbpage.com not many people there yet. There are a couple of people on the Boston craigslist that are willing to pull permits for homeownersand un-licensed contractors---must be insane.

Re: Record For Cheapest Paint Job

This reminds me of a remodeler what wanted to hook up with me to do all the painting. Wanted a good deal & would toss me rooms here & there as they needed it. Gave me examples of past rooms & asked what I would charge Most were around $400. Some less, some alot more. Guy almost sh!t himself. Said he couldn't get no work if he charged that much, and he does most for $50.

I told him to to bleep off & find another career as he could make that much at Wendys.
