Radio Show

I can't think of 1 radio show that is even remotely as bad as david lee roth, I mean I dont even mind listening to jackasses like rush or bill, but free fm DLR show is just a completely non entertaining total piece of crap, anyone out there actually like that show???

Re: Radio Show

he replaced howard in the cbs markets, free fm, loved howard way back in the day like '90-'99, I think he lost his edge last few years, robin I always found worthless, and Arty Lang was the only thing saving that show, But Even the Kidd Chris show started off pretty bad, but is so funny now, I really like all talk radio, funny or not, republican or dem, am or fm, But diamond dave absolutely suck beyond space and time, It is really a testament to how VH fired him and noone can stand him, including Sammy.

Roth was on Carson back in the band's prime. Johnny told Roth he had heard that the band had drug problems in the past and asked if they had overcome the're problems. Roth told Johnny yes the band had some bad drug problems when starting up, but now that the're all rich, they can afford them, so no problem.

Adam Corolla replaced Stern for us. He's okay. I miss Howard Stern. Still need to get a sirius radio. I don't miss the belching and strippers but he was just a total crack up when talking about current events and interviewing celebrities.

Re: Radio Show

I really miss hearing the robo-spanker, but the best stern days were way back when he would have the likes of daniel carver, marge schot, butt bongo fiesta, ect, that whole wack pack thing is stupid it isn't listener interactive, honestly I havn't heard the serius show, but prior to leaving terrestrial radio, Arty was the saving grace as the rest of the show has decomposed recently. In philly, barsky and kidd chris are great, but I like my talk radio in the morning not all damn day, and I find myself listening to glen beck until dlr is over for the day. I would rather have a dog fart in my face for 4 hours in the morning than listening to Diamond dave ramble on about absolutely nothing using speech with all his wierd eccetric idiosyncratic lexicon. From what I gather in 3.5 months of airtime, he is a the duty expert martial artist, combat vet, EMT from NYC, The only somewhat interesting show was when he had on uncle Many, other than that, his show is a complete radio abortion

Re: Radio Show

Haven't had the pleasure of hearing Dave yet, but really start to hate any radio show if I listen to it too long. Everything gets repetetive and you can predict it. Stern, GreasemanDC101, Kirk Mark and Lopez98 Rock, Elliot in the MornDC101. All are good in moderation

Re: Radio Show

I have yet to hear a DLR show, but I have heard most of the reviews.

I LOVED Bob & Tom! Those guys, especially Chick, killed me!
They pulled them when Clear Channel did another switcheroo of the stations. There's one frequency in my area that gets changed about once every two years.
ALWAYS hated morning shows, ESPECIALLY howard, but Bob and Tom were the best!

My favorite right now is "The Show" with Harry Shearer on NPR. Even though it's only once a week.

Re: Radio Show

Savage nation is probably my favorite am republican talk show, although I don't mind listening to tools like bill oreilly and rush just to here what they have to say, I don't think I could restrain myself from pounding on rush's fat face if I saw him somewhere, that guy just skeeves me like no other.

I've just recently started to get a liking for Savage. He's on in the evening here and I only catch him when I'm out running around. I like how he tells people to their face how it is with him.
Rush cracks me up because I'm tuned in to the kind of comments that set the veins in peoples necks a' bulgin'. You'll go bonkers if you always take what he says at face value cause he's constantly tryin' to tweak some segment of the audience - liberal or not.
Check out a webcast of Ron Smith at WBAL some time - 3PM -6 maybe? He's more a libertarian braniac type and does a good job of driving in the middle of the right hand lane.

Not a fan of Howard or Roth, but I used to listen to free beer and hot wings all the time when I lived in central jersey. That station doesn't really come in, in NYC though. Timberland, what NY station are they on?

Re: Radio Show

Glenn Beck all the way. 9-12. gotta listen for a few weeks, and then he grows on you. he's also going to have a TV show on Headline news channel, starting next month. sometimes i listen to rush, but can't do it for too long, he's too full of himself, sean hannity in the afternoons is another great show. i either listen to talk radio, or i plug my ipod into the dewalt radio and listen to my collect of music, i hate FM radio, i'm a country fan and can't stand hearing the same country song 4 times during a work day.

Q103 "Where Rock Lives" - 103.5
It usta be called "The Edge" but when Howard left they changed their format and the name.

I would agree with you on that. Maybe the locals need to make the Tom&Patty show and even bore the public more out their minds.
