and your point being?

charges being dropped does not mean they were not justified or that they were unprosecutable. Rightous charges are dropped all the time for a variety of reasons. If the DA did not believe there was any reason to lay the charges originally, they would not have done so due to the fact that charging a person with a crime without justifiaction is in itself a crime and opens the DA's office to a civil action.

HHmm, I guess wiki isn't always right. This is a small excerpt from a Larry King interview with Heidi Fleiss:

It is not as you present. The charges were only dropped after she ws found guilty but due to some problems with the jury, they dropped them. Wiki does not explain that.

If you want to read a bit more about her, you will find that after this trial, which was a state trial, she went on trial in the fed courts. I would suggest that the feds simply convinced the state to let things go since they had he solid for the crimes she was being tried for in the fed courts. Lots of deals happen all the time.

Let us just agree to disagree. Pandering, Prostitution and Solicitation are VERY DIFFICULT to prosecute. It is an evidenceless crime in nearly all cases.

Hi guys what's the beef about prostitution over here it's legal and they pay tax's and health insurance just like every one else.Now "Craig's list" a site i've never visited,I only know what I see on this site.The way I understand the meaning of the word prostitution is to use a thing for witch it was not intended.So any one biding for work on "Craig list" is in effect prostituting their trade.Like most prostitution it may be cheap but there's no satisfaction guarantee.When you think about it that's like people asking you to betray the men and women who gave their time and money so you could gain the knowlarge that you have.Now that is truly is a betrayal of trust.
