"Product Protection"
Am I the only person who doesn't like these "product protection" plans? I am paying for the product, why should I have to pay more for you to promise me it will last 2 years. For example, I bought a new pair of work boots this morning, and the boots were $140. The cashier asks if I want the product protection plan and I say no, thats why I bought the $140 boots instead of going to wal-mart to get the $40 boots. Ok, rant over.

Re: "Product Protection"
It isn't the manufacturer of the product selling the protection plan, it is the retailer, it is an insurance policy that they make a lot of money off of.
The problem with most of these plans is the exclusions, they rarely pay out on a claim. |

Re: "Product Protection"
I bought a Rigid vac from HD. It , like all Rigid tools, has a lifetime warranty. The girl at the checkout smailed and asked me if I wanted their PPP. I asked her if it has a life time warranty...what did they do...warranty it for two life times?
By the way...Rigid vac really suck!
