Here is a little test that will help you decide.
Question: How do you tell the difference between
Democrats, Republicans And Southern Republicans?

The answer can be found by posing the following question:

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges at you. You are carrying a Glock cal .40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor! Or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for few days and try to come to a consensus.

CG, I have a minor collection of the old 1911's including some newer,dialed in Gold Cup's. The stock grips are too small for my hands and tend to fire towards the left, I have Pachmyer's and muzzle brakes on the Gold Cup's and they'll dot the i.

I really don't worry too much about confrontations here but when down south, Miami especially, you have the possibility of running into the gangs. Swapping clips takes time. A cop buddy of mine told me to peel off six fast and wait, they'll think that you panicked and are reloading.

I was just razzin ya Tetor... nothing better (worse?) than sparking the old 9mm vs .45 debate.



I can not say I agree with the spray 6 out the tube and wait routine. Too much tort law for my taste. One good thing bout gang bangers though.... They dont as a rule get any range time. While holding your pistol sideways makes ya look ever-so-cool to the other homeboys, it gives folks with dialed in Gold Cups a chance to do the Mozambique drill with some level of impunity.

Here's a heartfelt wish that ya never have to clear leather but at the pistol range Doctor.

CG, The closest that I have come was putting a round into a parking lot just to get some attention, it worked real well. I also stuck a SuperBlackhawk in a guys face when he tried to rob me with a knife at a traffic light in downtown Ft. Laud., it was very loaded and would have blown his head clean off.

The one thing that I like about my little S&W is that I can consistantly dump a clip into a paper plate at 100 ft. without clipping the rim. One good shot beats 100 sprayed all over the place.

On the other side there was that cop down in
Tennessee who pulls over a family on vacation, handcuffs them on the ground, and takes the wagging tailed puppy's head off with his shotgun. The dad left his wallet on top of the car and Barney Fife thought for sure they were bank robbers when he saw $400 flying around. I'm certain Barney was a republican.
