Poker

Anyone here play any poker?
I am a regular at Poker Stars. For real money.
But I play for fun often at True Poker.

I prefer No limit Holdem.
I hate the limit games with a passion.
Never was real good at Omaha or other types.

Lost a few bucks in the beginning, but lately I have been placing high in the tourneys. Top 10% at least, and it always pays.

It amazes me how many people give their money to me playing Poker.
especially since it has been so damn popular as of late, I see tons of noobs thinkin that luck will get em thru it all.
Even tho a noob has taken a couple bucks with luck, they still come out losers in the end.

If any of you play at Poker Stars, let me know.
Perhaps we can hit a play money tourney....
or if your feelin lucky..............real money.

Re: Poker

I play at pokerroom.com sometimes... and 1-3 times a month I play at local tourneys (free) just played last night... I dont really want to talk about it I like the no limit tourneys the best too... Omaha is fun once in a while but it is much harder to play I think. Easy to get a good hand, just very hard to tell if you are going to win with that hand.

Re: Poker

I like Poker of all kinds. I like texas holdem but sometimes hate the looong hauls involved with tournament style gaming. Nothings worse than making silly mistakes because it's 5 am and you have been playing for 10 hours straight.

My cousin has tournaments at his house and sometimes 50 people will show up. The winner usually walks away with $500 and everyone's buy in is $30. $10 for the house (all the pizza and booze you can drink) 20 for the pot.

Love the texas hold em. I think my wife is at her wits end with me watching all the holdem shows on TV.

Re: Poker

I used to play on poker stars and party poker, but there are too many bad beats on there. I just stick to playing with my buddies.

Flor, isn't that what we all want? I like the challenge but pluckin' chickens puts money in the wallet.

Re: Poker

I play poker. I don't care which game. My favorites are Holdem limit or nl, Omaha variants, tripdraw h/l, 5-7c stud, crazy pineapple. Tournaments are fun but I prefer live cash games.
