Re: Pilot Of The Year!
It totally looks CGI. However That type aircraft has a higher power to weight ratio, so it can basically sit in the sky. I don't think the wing would have a big effect in a total nose up attitude. Wing is there to produce lift, in that position, lift from the wing is not needed, the empanage (tail section) would require all surfaces. I'd almost buy it, if the landing wasn't perfect but it just seems too good to be true. And if it is ligit, that man needs to go buy his acrobat instructor a few tall ones.

Re: Pilot Of The Year!
That has got to be fake. That would be all over the national news if it was real.

Re: Pilot Of The Year!
It looks like a combination of live footage of a RC plane, which would explain the power and it's flying ability and the huge out of scale jump up at the landing.

Re: Pilot Of The Year!
It is indeed fake, read up about it last week. Footage from model plane simulation software, a guy edited in running towards the plane at the end.

Re: Pilot Of The Year!
No way, no how...not even Chuck Yeager could have done that.
If that had been real, it would have required the pilot to literally "hang" on the propeller all the way down...it would not have been possible to change attitude for a landing, or anything else. Now an RC plane, with such a light weight to aspect of wing loading and power could be flown as seen.
