Very nice. This is my little collection. The 9mm I use as a CC firearm and the .22 I use just for target practice.

Got a few sharpshooter credentials under my belt, too.

Re: Picked Up A New Toy

This is what I use to scare the local thugs.
Taurus .357, 8-shot, 8" barrel, rubber tactical grips, hydro shock ammo.
Picked it up for $200.

The venting on top means almost zero kick. Very smooth shooting.

Seeing its a little too big to stuff in my pocket, it usually stays in the nightstand by the bed.

My CC is a Walther P99 40 cal. Its getting some trigger work done right now, so I'll post a pic of a stock image of one. I picked it up from a local cop for $375.

PWG that 357 is a beaut. When I saw the first pic I thought it was a python.

Hows the magna porting affect accuracy?
Is the muzzle flash as wicked as I've heard with that porting?

The python is real nice, but too pricey. I wasn't thrilled with the Taurus autos I'd ever shot, but this one works like a champ.

Seems accurate enough. It came with the porting, so I have nothing to compare it to. I hit the target.

You can see a little spark in daylight. At night it's a quite impressive show.

BTW, does anyone else load their shells straight from the box wearing rubber gloves, or am I just overly paranoid?

Re: Picked Up A New Toy

Gotta love the US of A. I got pulled over once by a cop. He looked in my trunk and I had a Pellet gun in there. He took it from me and it was destroyed because it was not properly stored. Not in a cabinet and didn't have a trigger lock. I guess that's why our armed forces are only equipped with pointy sticks !! Don't piss us off, we'll come down there and poke you!!!

Some of our concealed carry laws for vehicle carry are just as bad here in ohio.

It is a nice gun. I have been shooting the taurus since it first made its debut on the scene.

Nice guns. Good to see we're ready for the invasion.
I picked up a P227 at a pawn shop about 9 years ago that I'll never let go. Great for target blasting. Think I paid 700 for it.
