I know your probably resting and sleeping as you should be, but check in now and then. We all get freaked out now if no one hears from you atleast once a day. I'm sure no one here will complain about a post that says nothing but "I'm ok today."

Pacing the floor on crutches isn't fun... but I'll be pacing until I know your ok.

I'm alive and well. A bit groggy from all these crazy drugs they have me taking. Would you believe I have to take pills EVERY four hours, round the clock? I feel like I never really go to sleep for any length of time. Two and a half hours is the most sleep I have gotten since August 11th. And, trust me when I say, if there was ever a time I needed my beauty sleep, it is now! I look like the Bride of Frankenstein. They have stapled my hairline from the center of my forehead all the way to my right ear! What a Beauty Queen I am! I have had a parade of friends visit me since the surgery and they all have a slight look of horror when they first arrive. I think, because I sound so convincingly normal on the phone that they expect to arrive seeing me LOOK normal. And, boy, oh boy, do they get their share of shock theatre when they walk in the door. They aren't sure whether to laugh or cry! It's really gotten pretty funny, actually!

And, I promise to check in and let you know I am ok. Thanks for caring! All of you are the best!

That's about what it's like when you've got a newborn and you're breastfeeding. So I know a teensy tiny bit how you feel in that regard. Boy did I get cranky! Hang in there Patty!

Call me crazy but everytime I see Peladu's avitar, I get the overwhelming urger to grab him/it by the ears. And RRD's reminds me of Clyde from the old Clint Eastwood movie. But... sanity isn't know to run in my family either so never mind my off the wall thoughts.. haha
