Orlando Was a Blast!

Hey Everyone! I just got back from beautiful, sunny Orlando, Florida and I just had to 'check in' with everyone on the site and tell you what a fabulous trip it was! Keep in mind that this was a work-related convention so there was a schedule to adhere to; not a lot of free time to go play with Mickey & Minnie. However, 1200 of the most phenomenal people in my company were invited to this and it was top-shelf, all the way! They spoiled us completely! We took over the Hilton Hotel at Disney and had the party of a lifetime. You have never in your life seen 1200 of the most lovely people all getting along like this. And, the company treated us as if though we were Gods! They wined and dined us, entertained us, flourished us with awards and gifts, etc, etc... It was a 1st Class Act, if I do say so, myself!

My free daylight hours were spent poolside. I was on a mission to return back to Chicago with proof (tanlines ) that I was in Florida! (Ok, a little burnt, actually! )

Well.... ....I'm home now and it's back to the old grindstone for me! I need to work harder so that I can top the Rep of the Year...
...who sold 2.3 million! Seeing that made the fire burn a little harder in me..... .....Ya see, I'm kind of competitive and figure if he could do it, why can't I?

A girl can dream, can't she?

Sorry that I missed you, OTown is about 2hrs. from here. Glad to hear that you had a good time, you caught the weather perfectly.

Are you peeling yet? We know how you Yankees like to overdo it.

Not peeling....YET, Teetor, but I'm sure I will in a few days. It was SO nice to sneak off for a couple of hours everyday and lay by the pool. And, you are right. The weather was perfect! Saturday ended up being a bit of a scorcher, and I spent four hours out there with only a #6 Sunblock. It was HOT, HOT, HOT! But, I would just take a dip in the pool every once in a while to cool off a bit.

I gotta say, that I would seriously consider relocating to Florida after the last four days. I loved it!

Welcome Home!

I was going to have a cake and flowers waiting on your return but since Ken didn't win the Trifecta, your going to have to settle for a hug and a smile. hehe

Glad things went well. How was the 70's party?

Btw... Melissa and I kept things lively for you while you were gone.

Hugs & Smiles work just fine! And you and Melissa are real troopers. I just knew you gals wouldn't drop the ball!

The 70's party was a laugh-and-a-half! One team of reps dressed up like the Partidge Family. Another group was dressed up like soldiers who were in Vietnam. A lot of 'flower power' and go-go boots were there, Sonny & Cher look-a-like, the funniest was a whole office of reps who were 70's protesters, dressed in hippie-attire, and carrying picket signs reading "Down with X" (insert each and every one of our competitors)! It was hysterical! Although we (the Chicago team) did not depict any SPECIFIC group, we did, in fact, have a lot of 70's attire on. Everyone had a ball! The event was held at Epcot. After dinner, the waiters passed....(get this)....trays of Ho-Ho's and Twinkies on silver platters! The next day, at a General Assembly, our CEO said, "Hey, were you thinking what I was thinking when those trays of brownies were brought out?" The whole place roared!
