Please Nat, have the patience of a saint with this one.

Sounds like someone who pooled money with some friends to buy cheap houses and is looking for cheap rehab jobs or a newbie at a property management company wanting to impress old management with his cost saving idea. Either case, I don't think he has been the decision maker in million dollar + construction project.

He's listed as unregistered in the another thread asking about 2 GC's sharing subs to pull cost down.

I think he's a smart guy, but missing some construction background.

I really don't know anything about him so I can't comment. If my memory serves me correctly he knew a few industry specific terms so chances are he may be a professional with an off the wall idea.

Who knows, the off the wall ideas are usually the ones that make tons of money, or lose tons of money.

Re: No Offense T-Const

I failed to grasp the gist of his question.
Shared subs? I have always thought that subs were independent contractors.
I am a RC and ,sometimes, sub out to the big developers. I also hire subs for certain jobs where I cannot support full time personel. I am going for my GC license, I think that I should know about 'shared subs'.
Is this a yankee thing like unions?
