Nice People?

What happened to all the NICE PEOPLE?
Do I have them all?
It seems that the nice people of the world have vanished, not to be found.
Are you nice?

The DEAD MAN has lost his faith in mankind.
Man...kind what has happened to mankind, we have lost the thing that separates us from the animals.

Restore the KIND to mankind.

Restore my faith in mankind...............

Say one thing nice.

Bob, FYI
It might be to your benefit to make a point not to taunt the grim reaper. Just a thought.

Re: Nice People?

Reason for this thread is this.
I just joined, so I am looking threw threads and right away I find Tylerhomes name calling, OK, I just don't get why grown men and women cant talk in boards with out some one being a a*s. This is crazy, you dont even know the people. How are you going to chastise them like this? We are not animals, at least not susposed to be.
I guess it just shows why we have troops all over the world.
In my opinion mankind has lost its kind.

I remember when men treated others like men, I guess that has been lost some place in time.

Don't give up just yet Deadman, there are still many many nice ones out there. You just have to weed through the few bad apples to find the good.

Re: Nice People?

While your persona is a bit intimidating... I know where I'm headed so I'll answer this post.

Being "nice" can be discouraging when you go for a while w/o getting "nice" back.
But every no & then someone's nice back to you, and it makes your day! Like the client we had last year (built a deck) and they invited us to their Christmas party. I didn't know anyone else there, but we went and had a good time. It was an insane amount of food! LOL

Take care, relax...maybe go to church tomorrow. Find a relaxed looking church, it's usually got the nicest folks in it.

I think to many "men" (not me) are afraid that someone will mistake their kindness for weakness.........

Re: Nice People?

Everyday there are good things done by everyday people, unfortunately these usually aren't seen or talked about on the news with other sensationalism stories. Sad but true.

Take for example where I work, we travel a lot and the staff has committed to bring back all the guest amenity soaps, shampoo, lotions, etc. for donation to a local abused women's shelter which desperately need these sundries. Great deeds of kindness don't need to be huge in nature, its the littlest things we can all do which make for the better good.

Now go and pay it forward.

Your right about the whole weakness thing there Ryan ...ya know what though ......let em think I'm weak when I'm nice ......It just means surprise will be inevitable so I can get much closer, shock will last longer so I can do more damage ....and if nothing goes down, at least all the girls will like me.

Hows that for nice .....we gotta have our angles baby.

I am nice, not very often.Yes lots of men and women see being nice as weakness.I don't but many have tried to take advantage of me because I was nice.I tell them nicely to f#&k off.
