For The NHL Fan's In The House....

Paraphrasing Brian Engblom on cheap shots in the NHL.... "15 or 20 years ago....When you were skating around out there you weren't worrying about being suspended. You're thinking 'If I hit this guy is this guy over here going to pound me into a piece of hamburger.'" Awesome.

I dislike the game now- clutching and grabbing up the ying yang,- Vaneck is shooting off the gold tenders backs now- (Sabers) - I have lunch at Brunners Tavern occasionally, Rick Generete- play by play announcer for MSG -stops in every so often - he said the game is so boring and needs improvement on officiating.

- I am in total agreement- back in the 70's 80's it was a lot more exiting- up and down, French connection for us- Perault was incredible-- now look at the game- Just shoot at the net- something is bound to happen- by chance and circumstance and players are being mauled to death out there - officiating- Ahhhhhh,, I still watch the sabs , and other games as well- it's the same all over-

thanks for the thread- I needed to get that off of my chest-
Brian
