Nfl

Who ya watching?
Who ya pull for?

I've been an all teams from Pittsburgh fan since the day I was born (in a Pittsburgh hospital.) I've been lucky this year in that an unusual amount of Steelers games were broadcast here.

We usually get the West division games.

Pittsburgh at Tennessee today. So I'll probably be hitting grandpa up for some of his heart meds.

Teams I always enjoy seeing a win:

Pittsburgh-for obvious reasons
Philadelphia-because I'm a PA boy
Patriots-My graduating high school mascot/team
Panthers-goes back to the Dom Capers days, and also the mascot/team of my first high school
Packers-When I was a kid, Gatorade had team logos on the METAL bottle caps on their GLASS bottles, and Green Bay the first team I got. I was just a wee lad at the time, and it is one of my earliest memories.

Teams that fill me with great joy when they lose:

dallas
Cleveland

Re: Nfl

I'm pulling for the Vikings. They always come close and then screw up. 1998 was hell for me. But after what the Patriots did last year I feel better. Randy Moss was involved in both fiascoes. Maybe if the Vikings would go after a real Quarterback instead of resting hopes on these losers we would have a better team. We need leadership badly.

Re: Nfl

Pittsburgh, Green Bay & the Raiders - are my three favorite teams & Brett Favre for favorite player
Raiders haven't been much since Gruden left
Green Bay, well see next year
Come on Steelers

Unfortunately down here they mostly play the Atlanta, Tenn. & Jacksonville games

Re: Nfl

I think my Pats are done for this year. Jets would have to lose to Seattle today....pffffft! and then beat *cough* MIAMI next week.....I think. I've got to hand it to Favre, I really thought he was making a huge mistake at the beginning of the year by his insisting on coming out of retirement. If the Pats don't get in, I'll go for the Jets.

Well they are doing it again. The Vikings get your hopes up and then this crap. Can we screw up and get eliminated from the play-offs? Yup. Go Lions at least all hope was gone by Thanksgiving.

Re: Nfl

Dolfan here, some turnaround! Don Shula got me interested in game strategy and playing the clock, he was one of the best as was ...

Tom Landry and I still watch Cowboy games out of habit.

Mom and Dad were from IN and she and I watch the Colts. Peyton is fun to watch and Tony knows the game.

Ol'#2's from Boston so on days like today the PIP is flipped back and forth.

Sorry about your Steelers, the Titans are on a tour de force.
