The News?

Ok fellow contractors....how do you guys get the news?

I get up early...everyday...usually, I get the papers ( I take 2, Enid and OKC) while the coffee is brewing and read them, front to back...1/2 hour on the weekdays, an hour on Sundays. I heard a local news guy saying newspaper circulation was falling.....like several years in a row...and someday soon, there will be no more newspapers.

So at the age of 46, am I a dinosaur? I also turn on the local news and weather, and listen while I read.

Ok...what about the rest of you? The coffee time poll is interesting...how do you guys keep up with the news?

Re: The News?

I take the town's daily paper and read it in the evening, but can't stomach much TV news. I get the highlights off the radio here and there thoughout the day.

No option for a combination of all of the above.

Re: The News?

Actually you should also add the internet to list. For me I read the newspaper, watch the news and read the topics on Yahoo. Even the different forums can give you information from sites I have never heard of. A lot of them are fringe right or left, but still it gives you an idea and sometimes a little insight or different view at a topic.

I'm about 100% Internet. But I doubt I'm exactly "normal".

"Newpapers every day and television news"
I get my news from the daily paper, but I read it online. Wife always got the news on so I guess I see some on TV too.
