Re: New Rings

speedy,

Elton John is gay.

He just got """married""" in England to his... uh... wife.. no..er.. husband.. er.. uhm no... boyfriend?

If you need more clarification than that .... uh never mind I dont know anyone on here well enough to feel comfortable insluting them even in fun.

Re: New Rings

Yes, I know he is gay. That is quite public knowledge.
My post was more to show how insults like that are very closed minded.

I guess I don't have the same problem with gays as most here.
I really don't see any need to make fun of someone simply because they are gay.

Re: New Rings

It wasn't meant as in insult (I'm sure) nor was it close minded, it was simply an attempt at humor, which we need more of nowadays!! Jeeesh!

I agree. In fact, when I see a gay, I immediately give him a slap on the backside and a big sloppy wet kiss.

I only make fun of gays when they are both gay and queer. Most are. They're homosexual too, most of them.

I should add, in the interest of fairness, that I'm pretty sure I'm a lesbian. I'm seriously into chicks.

Re: New Rings

Don't get me wrong, I love making fun of stupid people more than the next guy.
It's just the making fun of people just because they choose (or not) a certian lifestyle, race, etc.
Elton is not a flamboyant outwardy gay person anymore. He is simply an awesome musician.

Now, in being the hypocrite that I am, some of those guys on that show "Queer Eye..." deserve all the ridicule thrown at them. IMO they actually invite it.
