Re: New Mower Delivered Yesterday.

nice looking machine-throw some fertilizer on the lawn so you can enjoy a little extra during the cutting season :-)

do you mow around the pond? I have toyed with making some sort of assembly to make it easier to mow around my pond-something allowing me to drive around instead of using the grass trimmer.

We've owned the adjoining farm for 5 years, but this will be our first year of owning the house with the pond. I've got a tractor & hope to add a sickle bar mower to my line of impliments so I can mow down to the waters edge. Last summer, I used my walk behind brush cutter to cut openings down to the water so my mom could get down there to fish. Definately gotta find a better way.

As for the fertilizer comment, uhhhh, I don't think so Tim. I hate mowing.

What do you mean, you hate mowing? You are not mowing with that thing, you are driving around the yard swigin' a cold one.

That's where she draws the line Kevin, she's alergic to grass. I've either gotta bribe someone with a place to fish in exchange for mowing, or I gotta do it myself.

Mowing sucks no argument about it, but mowing on a slick piece like that is fun.....for the first hour.
