Never Trust A Green Light

I'd say the green light was all motorcycle's. And notice car boy swerving prior to the intersection. Must be texting feverishly to some other nerd.

This hits home. I pass by an onramp that has violators DAILY.

The guy on the cycle is lucky to be alive. I've seen too many bikers splattered on the side of the road.

ST!

That guy won't walk again!

I was always on guard for this when I was riding. Still ain't no guarantee that it won't happen.

I say he was lucky to land ON the car. The hood broke his fall a bit.

I do not trust RED lights. I was stopped and hit dead-on at an estimated 50 MPH from behind in 1984. My passenger absorbed the majority of the impact. She gave her life while saving mine.

I still ride.

Re: Never Trust A Green Light

I always keep an eye out at intersections where I have right of way, for cars that look like they aren't going to stop. I've felt like an idiot before because I slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting someone that was actually stopping, but didn't look like it, but I'd rather that than plow into someone who doesn't stop and rolls right out in front of me.

Re: Never Trust A Green Light

When I rode, I was advised to ride with the attitude that EVERY car was out to hit me PURPOSEFULLY.

Perhaps excessively defensive, but the only times I went down were due to MY stupidity, and no other vehicles were involved.

No, I don't ride no more. I hate dressing for the weather and I like carrying lots of crap
