My Son Is Famous!!!!

Wednesday night 95.5 WPLJ radio station in NY played Channel 7 news in a charity softball game at Yogi Berra Stadium in Montclair where the New Jersey Jacklas play. My son and I went to get something to eat and some guy walked up to me and asked me if my son would want to "Tackle the Jackal". He's the mascot for the Jackals. I looked at my son and we both started laughing and said that he'll do it in two seconds and the Jackal doesn't know what he's in for.

My son starts at home and the Jackal is at second base, and my son runs around first and chases the Jackal and then the Jackal falls down at third and my son dives on top of him and jumps on him with his knees and beating him up. Everyone was cracking up.

That stadium is nice I go there once in a while. This coming week as a matter of fact. If I see the jackel get tackled I'll know who it is. HAHAHAH

You got that right. I didn't get a chance to have those moments with my father because unfortunatley he died when I was 5. So, every moment with my son is special, even if we're just laying around watching tv.

The Jackal didn't expect that. From what I've been told from everyone, the kids just chase him and when the Jackal falls, they just tap him. Some kids are afraid of him. I guess he didn't expect to get double knees to the head from my little angel.
