Monster Fish Rescue

Here's something I did while finishing a customers basement:

The tanks are a 150 gallon and a 240 gallon. The 240 is viewable from both sides

And here's my other project:
There’s a new shirt available at MFR.com Check it out!

This is the third edition, the fourth will be coming out very soon! It’s already been made but there were some issues with it...

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

Very cool.

I'm thinking about raising exotic cats---not fish, but the four-legged kind---and building a custom cathouse to do it. You may have inspired me to draw up some plans!

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

I'll have to dig up my pics of the "Monkey Room" now. We framed and tiled a 240 sq ft addition for a magician. For his monkey's. It has a true habitat design with glass ceiling and indoor stream. Amazing place if you're into monkey's. I know a bit off topic but it is as relevent as cats. lol

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

Hi everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the people who have showed their support by purchasing a Monster Fish Rescue T-Shirt. The shirts are definitely conversation starters at your local fish shop, swap meet or auction. Thanks for helping educate other hobbyists about large fish and their proper care! That’s what MFR is all about!

I’d also like to thank “bell” from the cichlid-forum.com for nominating me for Animal Planets “Hero of the Year Award” You’re a class act bell, thank you!

For more information on the Hero of the Year Award click on the link:
http://animal.discovery.com/convergence/hero_of_the_year/hero.html

Since I’m posting I wanted to let people know that I’ve taken your feedback about the shirts and have come up with another option for those who choose not to advertise how much of a fish geek they really are LOL Monster Fish Rescue now has ball caps available!

You can get them in an array of colors, and if you’d like (upon request) you can even get yourself a Trucker hat in any of the colors available.

Please keep in mind that I don’t keep shirts and hats in stock, they’re made to order and can take up to four weeks to get them to your door step. Personally I think it’s worth the wait!

Don’t forget to check the site for fish that are up for adoption!

Thanks again! Jonathan (aka TheFishGuy)

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

Talk about cats? I saw a program where the people actually built a 12" wide walkway about 1 foot below the ceiling with holes in the walls so the cats could walk around the entire perimeter of the house! Talk about cool?

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

Hi folks, MFR is in need of a 20’x15’ pond liner. I found one on eBay for $100 or so including shipping. So I thought I’d come on all the sites and see if people are willing to donate to reach the goal of $100. I’m expecting some large fish shortly and need the room! I belong to 26 forums, so if I only got $4 from one person on every forum we’d make the goal! Here’s the link to the pond liner I’d like to get:

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

Some people care, some people don't. To me a large fish with it's own personality is just as important as a dog cat or horse. If you've ever owned one you'd understand. Some people care enough about their pets that they'd rather see them get saved and placed in a responsible home than just kill em.

Re: Monster Fish Rescue

I have two small koi ponds in the backyard. One is about 200 gallons and feeds into an 800 gallon pond. Planning on adding a much larger one next year at the back of my property. Any fish you have that won't eat my koi and can survive Michigan winters, let me know.
