Mexican Worker Success Banner Ad On This Site

I clicked on it...it borders on racist stereotypes.

Day 2 -- Cultural Prison. Why you can’t take Mexico out of a Mexican. Here’s how to leverage your new found knowledge.
Day 3 -- Excuses: Why they say “No se” (Don’t know). Find out exactly what to do to get real honest answers.
Day 4 – How to get #1 Quality on the job.
Day 5 – Why they don’t take care of equipment. Mysterious cultural reasoning. Simple method cuts your down time.

The info might be true....but it also might open up CT to slanderous liability suits...I'm just saying.

There is already a discussion going on about that ad.

Sorry, I don't have the link to the thread handy, but I replied in it yesterday if you want to search my subscriptions to find it.

I dont think Nathan gets to pick and choose each ad that runs here, so if there was a lawsuit it wouldnt be against him but maybe the original advertising agency or whoever puts the ads on here.

Ads can be excluded from any site. IMHO the ad should not be excluded since it's getting some action............action pays hosting bills

Also used as "pinche gringo"
pinche is a mild swear word about like "dang" in English, as in "in a pinch".
gavacho is slang for gringo. My sources say a little like you calling them a friggin' beaner. Don't worry, you're still their favorite heffe.

BTW -- "gavacho" locked up my translator program.

Wallmaxx... I like that advertisement. I don't hire illegal amigos and never hired day laborers once in my career to date. Infact part of my business model is giving a customer a great product at a fair price, I do tell them if you hire a illegal or hack.. you run the risk of being robbed shortly after the job is done.

Re: Mexican Worker Success Banner Ad On This Site

20 Million spread out over several states doesn't seem too bad, especially considering that after a generation or two they ain't even Mexicans anymore... plenty of well to do folks I know have Spanish last names but don't speak a lick of Mexican!

Plus there's a hole in the wall Mexican food joint 8 miles I drive out to for take out, has a line out the door all day every day, it almost makes the whole "illegal" thing worth it.

M'mmm,. Hungry.

Re: Mexican Worker Success Banner Ad On This Site

illegal amigos... that's just what more of California needs. Speaking of which I was at lunch the other day, a few illegal amigos were doing sprinklers on a new store under construction... I started taking pics.... the amigos went into hiding! 3 of them got into a car and drove off... I think 38 million are in California, the rest are spread out...
