Re: Manchester NH

Manchester is a good 90 minutes from where I am. I get there occasionally. Really cheap place to fly into though, you picked a good airport if that's how you're coming in.

You're not far from Boston, Portsmouth, Portland. Anything along the coast will be some nice homes. Plum Island off Newburyport has some nice places. Downtown Portsmouth is nice, but bring lots o' money.

Watch out for moose and black bear. Spring time, they come out into the roads. Going north you have the white mountains/ North Conway/skiing, northwest, green mountains/skiing, east the framerman mountains

Old history almost anywhere you go.

Re: Manchester NH

Manchester (Queen City) is a great old historic mill town on the banks of the Merrimac River. The city itself is a great place to explore if you like historic mill buildings and a revitalization of an area that was badly depressed a few decades ago.

I haven't read this through, but I'm sure it is full of fun facts:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester,_New_Hampshire

New Hampshire is a beautiful state and I think it's entering (glorious) mud season

OH, I'm about 90 minutes away in Norfolk MA, half way between Boston and Providence.
